“Untied Laces” is inspired by a strong image coming from a WWII documentary, of a destroyed shoe which belonged to a jew exterminated in a concentration camp, and by the Markus Zusak’s book “The Book Thief”. The tune is a dedication to all the wars victims no matter the side, the nationalities, nor the period of history. It is a tribute to life’s importance, and an echoe to what is happening in Ukraine right now.
