When your heart aches from injustice, and your body is confined to prison, it can be hard to keep going. but I know from experience that even though your physical freedom is restricted, your spirit is still free. You still have control over your thoughts, and the belief in yourself to overcome any obstacle. Hold onto that belief tightly, and let it guide you through the tough times.Remember, you are stronger than you think, and your spirit cannot be broken.
Let hope fuel your belief, and keep in mind that change is possible. Justice will come, one way or another.
There was a time when I felt helpless and lost. The justice system had failed me But as time went on, and I saw who I was I realised that my spirit was not broken. I had a fire burning inside of me that refused to be put out. I knew that I had to keep fighting for justice, not just for myself but for those who were also wrongfully imprisoned and forgotten by society.
It wasn't easy, but I found strength in the support of others who believed in me and my cause. With each step forward, I felt more alive and empowered, knowing that my struggle was not in vain. And though my freedom had been taken from me, I refused to let go of my hope.
And yes, it was that hope that one day I would be free, that is the only thing that matters.
